An exceptional hand stitched 19th century quilt with a dense diamond pattern centre, a second loop stitch border around the centre panel and narrow bands of stitching on the four sides to create an outer border.

The fabric used on one side of the quilt is a beautiful pink Paisley with red highlights, an intense pattern, on the other side a wonderful olive green, there are approximately two and a half loom widths on each side

Filled with a thick layer of batting which is flat and still evenly spread

Medium size, suitable for a bed or throw, 187cm by 200cm, 74" by 57"

Condition is very good for an antique quilt, it is left as found and cleaning is recommended before use, no major holes, overall it looks clean, only one very faint pale brown mark on one side,
