Part of a wonderful haul of unused farmhouse heirloom cloths all from the same vide maison, these four extra large torchons are superb quality, made from a thick textured handwoven hemp .

Each one has an amazing wide herringbone woven in stripe pattern at each end, their large size means they were more likely for use in food preparation, for baking, or processing charcuterie on the farm.

They are an oatmeal colour with that natural rustic homespun look. As they have never been used I have chosen to leave them in their straight from the armoir condition and they will need a launder before use, the discolouration is where they have been folded and exposed and washes out easily.
