Part of a wonderful haul of unused farmhouse heirloom cloths all from the same vide maison, these four torchons have a unique soft waffle honeycomb texture which makes them very absorbent.

Each one has been hand embroidered with her OB initials in high relief, other details include a band of drawnthread work decoration at each end by the hem and a traditional woven in three stripe pattern at each end.

They are an oatmeal colour with that natural rustic homespun look. As they have never been used I have chosen to leave them in their straight from the armoir condition and they will need a launder before use, the discolouration is where they have been folded and exposed and washes out easily.
