Fabulous vintage 1920's/30's striped Basque table linen set, made in the traditional diamond weave of these regional textiles

This is a particularly heavy and excellent quality set, the red and green decoration is woven into the fabric not printed and has the feel of embroidery, the cloth is probably a linen and cotton blend

The tablecloth and each of the 12 napkins are hand embroidered with what I think is a DG monogram, it's quite stylised so hard to tell, sewn in matching green and red

Cloth 252cm by 132cm, napkins 57cm by 42cm

I have laundered this set and it is in excellent condition ready to use
